I finally found my Gameboy with Pokemon Crystal after about 2 years. What I do with it now could be pivotal in how I develop as a young adult. I’ll just try to beat the Elite Four is all…

I can’t wait to have nice food at home. Germany’s lovely and all, and I have had quite a few excellent meals, but I’m conditioned to Irish meat.

This is my favourite hangover ever. I’ve managed to regain control of my sleep cycle, had a bowl of fish fingers for breakfast, read the Wikipedia page on Jamaica, am listening to Smashing Pumpkins and am about to take all my vitamins.

I picked up a penchant for classics this year. Books that I remember that I read include Lolita by Vladamir Nabokov, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath (re-read), and The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. Currently making my way through To Kill A Mockingbird and Lord of the Flies.

It is the 16th of December and I know that if I leave it any later, I will be too busy to recap my year. I love lists and charts, and while this is non-exhaustive I hope I can sum up my year pretty well from what I can remember because I didn’t actually do any actual recording. This blog i guess is the closest to a diary or journal that I have. Cities Visited. I am sort of obsessed with...

About to try "Paradise Juice" from Pennymarkt....
Tastes a little bit like blood. As if you were buying a smoothie and just as they hand it to you they get shot in the back of the head and a fair amount of blood lands right in there, but you drink it anyway because smoothies are damned expensive. May purchase again.

To not be a writer and yet to write is a thrill. Feeling a fraud must be there in the beginning for everyone, feeling like an uninvited guest at a party of intellectuals is the best way I can describe it. But it is not just seasoned or accomplished writers that get writer’s block, and it is not just those same writers who get through it. After a month of feeling the flame die, it is suddenly...

Mick Flannery
“Flannery is shy.  He has experienced terrible stage fright before performances, including vomiting all over the dressing room. He does not often use a computer, preferring instead to ask others to update his Facebook and MySpace accounts, although this leaves him with “really sick” feelings when people come to him at his shows to thank him for replying to their messages. ...
