Right now I am in the process of creating a new Facebook profile for myself, because I’ve been bitten by Timeline. I have been on Facebook for about 5 years and it is too much to go through every post and hide or disguise or delete anything I see that I don’t want to be in my present life. When I started on Facebook it was a mess. It’s grown up along with me, but I don’t go sharing all the awkward embarrassing photos and irrelevant status updates that it’s had over the last half decade. So I’m cutting that profile loose, though I invest so much in writing status updates and comments trying to make them entertaining or funny, that it is a little sad. It’s also very sad that I find it sad. But that was a little like this blog, something I created that was different to everyone elses in every way I could make it.
A fresh start, a clean slate, and an ever more employable, safer Facebook profile. I will try to retain the humour too.
